How To Make Peach Tea At Home

Step 1: Sugar and water

The first thing that you need to do is add sugar into a pan that is filled with 250 ml of water. Allow the water to boil so the sugar would dissolve.

Once the sugar has dissolved, add the chopped peaches and cook them until they’re soft. Once that’s done, you want to turn off the gas and mash the peaches with a fork.

Once they’re mashed, leave them to infuse for 1 hour.

Step 2: Syrup

You would want to sieve the syrup through a fine sieve into a jug, which would mash the fruit so the juice could be released.

Step 3: Teabags

After that, you would want to put the teabags in a large heatproof jug. Add 2 liters of boiling water into that jug and leave them to steep for 4 minutes. Once that’s done, you want to carefully remove all the teabags. Let the water cool properly.

Note: You can also place the water in the fridge if you want to speed up the cooling process.

Step 4: Stir the peach syrup

Once the water is chilled, you want to stir the peach syrup into the iced tea with some ice. You can also pour a little of the syrup into a glass and then add the tea. Once in the glass, top up with more water or sparkling water or with more ice. You can also add more peach slices into the glass before serving them.

Serve

Once everything is done and you’ve tasted it, you can serve the peach iced tea to yourself and the people that are living with you!
