Shoes You Must Have In Your Wardrobe

Shoes You Must Have In Your Wardrobe

In this article, I want to share my essential shoes. I will go over the types of shoes that I always have in my closet, they not only suit my style but also my lifestyle.

4 Essential Shoes

Here are 4 essential shoes I think you must have, including thigh-high boots, ankle boots, loafers, and pumps. I move throughout the world with these shoes, they’re really functional and practical and I love them, let’s get started.

Thigh High Boots

The shoes that I have gotten the most to use out of is probably a pair of black boots because most of us wear black bottoms or dark color bottoms in the winter. Now, there are so many thigh high boots for plus size women, you can use them to complete a classic black outfit, with a nice belt and a black pea coat.

Ankle Boots

My second pair of essential shoes are ankle boots. I love ankle boots so much that since I started redoing my wardrobe a few years ago I have had a pair in my closet. As I have started to understand my style a little bit more, I have expanded that collection. So now they’re not just the basic Chelsea boot like I once had, but instead, I have things with a little bit of a heel, I have lace-up ankle boots, I have things that are a little bit chunkier things, each of them serves my style in a way, that’s really cohesive with how my style has evolved, so I have been able to tap into what I like about ankle boots and how they’re functional practical and super comfortable but then expand that, as my style has evolved, I am so happy with all of them. I definitely recommend it if you’re starting on your personal style.

Loafer

Similar to ankle boots are loafers. I have been wearing loafers for as long as I can remember, because they’re so comfortable they’re really functional, they’re walkable and practical, and they have all the things that I love. But I also think that there’s something really great about the structure of a loafer, which gives me that up and down, and I can go a little bit dressy or really casual. There’s also something inherently a little bit preppy about a loafer, and I love that, I love injecting a little bit of that into my style so having loafers that kind of “hit that mark” of being really classic and really simple. There are so many different ways that you can wear them, and they always seem to be a little bit on trend so you can make them feel trendier or more classic depending on what you pair them with.

Classic Pumps

Next is a pair of classic pumps, and different from those dress-up and dress-down pumps, these are exclusively dressy, there’s something about them that feels very formal and a little bit more polished. Whenever I need my outfit to feel dressier, I know that adding a pair of pumps will automatically do that, and having that as part of my style is something that I figured out over the last couple of years. I have added a couple to my closet and I rotate them depending on the time of the year, the general vibe of the outfit, and then most importantly I use them to dress up casual looks and it’s been a great addition to my style.

Conclusion

These are my essential shoes. If you have not found yours, do not worry, you just need to experiment more. Hope you can find some inspiration.
