Green leafy vegetables are very rich in chlorophyll. This means that when we introduce spinach, lettuce, kale or other similar ingredients into our body, they are converted into haemoglobin and our ability to oxygenate the blood in our body increases.

Do we need to take antioxidants in our diet? The resounding answer is YES!

Due to the lifestyle we lead, stress, pollution and toxins have become our main enemies. Our body is weakening, we lose energy, and we get sick more regularly.

Every time we breathe, we generate uncontrollable oxidants that damage our cells; and although we do not want to assume it (we are still “little kids,” but we must bear in mind that we already have an age).

The older we are, the less natural antioxidants our body produces to keep these destructive molecules at bay. So when these accumulate, health deteriorates, and ageing accelerates.

That is why we wanted to let you know the benefits that a recipe such as this antioxidant green juice can bring you, which is a vitamin C bomb.

  • Step 3:The next step will be to put all the ingredients in our blender or smoothie maker, along with the honey, chia seeds and the lime (or lemon ) game.
  • Step 4:We beat about 10-15 seconds, simply so that the ingredients are chopped a little, and we add the ice
  • Step 5:We beat again until obtaining a fine and homogeneous texture.
