Rudolph the Reindeer Bento

RudolphSmallOf course I had to do Rudolph! The movie is so cute I remember being a kid and freaking out when it came on TV.  My kiddo loves it too and is somewhat amazed that movies have come so far since when I was a kiddo.  We had a lot of good laughs watching it and she was grossed out with the Yukon Cornelius guy cause he would lick and taste his pick ax aka Miley Cyrus LOL…

So for Rudolph I had purchased this old cookie cutter set that made a 3D Santa and his sleigh cookie that you can fill with candies.  The cutters also press the image. So I pressed away and then toasted Rudolph to give him a bit of color. I added a bit of tomato to make his nose red and put a sprinkle for his eye.

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer is sitting on a toasted cheese sammi (dairy free), below is some broccoli and turkey flowers, veggie pasta presents.  Around him I have some spinach leaves and some tomato for color. I placed a few edible snowflakes about to make it a little more merry.

Momma Says: My kiddo believes in the magic of Christmas and is looking forward to the Big Guy paying us a visit. I am glad I can make her lunch time a bit magical with bento because too soon it will all pass. I hope memories will remain of fun lunches Momma made.

* It was a dark morning the sun was hiding so pic was not as nice as usual, ahhh the wonders of Winter…
