Trick or Treat Bento Lunch

trickortreatThe time is drawing near for the BIG NIGHT. This was the inspiration for today’s cute Halloween bento lunch. It is appropriately named trick or treat bento because of theĀ  cute cupcake picks I bought at Hobby Lobby. The little kids dressed up are so cute, I am sure my kiddo will be happy with today’s bento lunch.

In the top containers I have assorted fruits black berries, strawberries and champagne grapes with some pea pods stuck in. On the bottom I have a salad with tomatoes and some pumpkin cheese slices (GF and DF).

The pumpkin container has golden raisins in it.

trickortreat2I also packed a PB & J sandwich where I painted with food coloring a spooky scene and added some cheese tombstones with trick and treat painted on them. It is painted on a tortilla cut to fit bento box.

Momma Says: She came home saying that she really liked the bento and everyone was asking about the painted tortilla. So a simple two minute painting with gel food color can make lunch FUN.
