Frosty Bento

This bento took just a few minutes, basically the most of it was the time it took to cook the steamed BBQ bun

My kiddo just loves these things and I do because it makes a quick and cute bento.

Today I made the bun look like Frosty the snowman, thanks to a carrot piece cut into a nose and some nori for eyes and a mouth. topped with a cute decoration hat. Keep Frosty warm in the bottom of a thermos.

On the top of the thermos in the cup I made a cucumber tree, sliced grapes in a silicon cup, and some yellow pepper. Topped it with a cute penguin.

I love that lunches don’t have to be a big production if you don’t have the time (or energy). The one thing is they can be fun and healthy. The occasional sweet is not a big deal just as long as it is occasional, then there is no guilt I say.

Momma Says: Even if you don’t want to make faces or intricate lunches just placing colorful food with some cute picks is all you need to make kiddos enjoy eating food from home.
