Product Review: Little Colds, by Little Remedies Honey Elixir

With school here and kiddos all together in the classrooms, they are bound to get a bug.  Well of course we can send them off with hand sanitizer, give them vitamins to boost their immune system and even beg them to keep their eyes open and steer clear for sick friends.  But they still will eventually get the bug that’s going around the class.

My kiddo (10yrs)  is home and has a nasty bug (she said a friend was coughing a lot- so a big thanks to that Parent who send their kiddo that day).  She is coughing and running a fever, just feeling miserable.  She needs something to help tame her cough and coat her throat.

So I purchased Little Colds Honey Elixir by Little Remedies, What drew me to it is that it is not really a medicine it is labeled a dietary supplement, so you know it contains no meds.  It contains Honey, Purified Water, Glycerin, and Sodium Benzoate (preservative).  So I thought I will give it a try, kiddo is just too miserable.

My surprise it helped stop her persistent cough!  It definitely aided in helping to make her more comfortable and get her some much needed rest.  It coated her throat to help stop that “tickle” that makes her cough.

I have allways heard of using honey to help with coughs and sore throats, we have done this in the past, but the combination of honey and glycerin I believe is really what did the trick here. Also the fact that I can use it to support the meds she is taking and I can be confident of no interactions (always check with your doctor/pharmacist before giving ANYTHING to your sick kiddo and with their meds- common sense here folks). The truth is in my sleeping kiddo is that is all I need to trust this product!

This product is definitely on the Momma Must Haves list and you should go run out and purchase it to keep on hand before the buggies come home with your kiddo.

Momma Says: Little  Colds by Little Remedies “Honey Elixir” is a safe alternative that can be trusted to give the support my kiddo needs when she is feeling her worst.
