Little Lion Bento

Little Lion Bento came to be due to the need to use up the food in the fridge and freezer as much as possible over the next few days, because were moving.  So who knows what will show up in my bentos this week beyond the usual fruit and veg. So we shall see if creation flow easily of if I struggle and just whip it all together. Either way kiddos love it because you throw a pic or two, make a cute face and have some colors= Awesome lunch no matter what.

Today’s Little Lion Bento is made with the inspiration of the leftover GF spinach ravioli that I had in the freezer (one less item to worry about), I added some quick nori punch out faces after I boiled them, also added flowers made of carrot, some cucumber spears, a piece of DRAGON FRUIT (how cool looking is that), some hot dog (always buy quality with no nitrates) with a lion pick hiding, a cutie orange with another lion pick, and some purple and green grapes also with a lion pick. I tucked some green “grass” food seperators to make it look like they were in the jungle.

I love how the ravioli’s edges mimic the picks, otherwise I may have made them into a “sun” or even “sunflowers”, but the picks is what drove me to do cute lions in the bento.

Momma Says: You never know where inspiration will be so if your stumped just look thru your stash of goodies and go with the flow.
