Cute Bunny Bento

Yea, springtime is here and Easter is around the corner!  So Bunny Bentos are going in full swing for now.  My kiddo loves all things bunny (as do I), we even had rabbits. They are fun pets, but dont live too long so keep that in mind if you ever decide to get one.

Cute Bunny Bento is my kiddos lunch today. I love the little faces! For this bento I made little bunny rabbit sammis with cute pick bow and a pick hat, nori face. They are sitting on a mix of greens, some baby carrots and a cherry tomato with a pick stem. Along side is a carved apple, turkey flower, cucumber circle sammis with turkey and cheese.  At the store we found these marshmallows filled with jelly in the shape of a strawberry, too cute!

Momma Says: So many parents get bunnies for the kiddos for Easter, then the  novelty wears off and the bunnies are neglected and then given up.  So be well informed if you really want a bunny. Yes they are so cute and cuddly, but they can nip, and their urine smell can be very strong.  Maintaining a very clean cage is important, not only for the bunnies health but also your home too. Plus if you do get a bunny have them fixed!  Fixed male bunnies will be much more docile. Bunnies can be sexually mature very young and reproduce very quickly after a litter.

So PLEASE don’t get one for the cute factor only, we don’t want them homeless in a few months in the shelters!
