Snowflake Bento

Snow Flake Bento is again for Christmas how can anyone not want to make seasonal bentos right now. I cannot stop thinking of Christmas! Plus I love the snow here in Colorado. Here for a few days then the nice warm sun comes and melts it. Perfect. Does not stay to long to be bothersome.

So I made snowflake from sticky rice with a candy dot in center, cut some shapes into cucumber, radish and hot dog. There is a pickle stuffed underneath the snowflake along with turkey rolled flower with carrot center. I also made a quail egg into a little snowman with a pick for a hat and a chery tomato for a body and radish skin for nose and nori eyes and mouth. She has been asking me for something quail egg since I bought them so I know she will be excited today!

Momma Says: Easy tip- is to cut shapes into hot dog put in a cup with hot water and microwave for a minute. This makes the hot dog open up and the shape turns into a cool addition to your bento!
